Listen, marvel, experience – Nursery and Family Concerts with Ensemble Modern

Within the framework of Sound Port Frankfurt, for the first time Ensemble Modern will offer performances for children aged 3 to 6 in March 2026. On Thursday and Friday (March 5 and 6, 2026), the events are reserved exclusively for groups from nurseries and daycare, while those on Saturday and Sunday (March 7 and 8, 2026) are family concerts open to children and their parents or other adult companions.

In these concerts, children and adults can delve into a world of sounds, movement and surprises, guided by the music educator Gabriele Baba and members of Ensemble Modern. The music invites everyone to listen attentively, to marvel – and to experience it with all the senses. On this journey through a fascinating sonic landscape, curiosity, joyful discoveries and shared listening are the focus of attention.
